What Technologies This Website Uses

1. Strictly Necessary: Consent Preferences
The preferences panel saves your consent choice in your browser's local storage (or a technical cookie) under a record named aranis-cookie-preferences.
- Purpose: It records only whether you accept or reject audience measurement and the date of your decision. It does not collect any fields from the contact form and is not used to track you across websites.
- Legal Basis: Because it is strictly necessary to respect and remember your choice, it does not require prior consent.
- Duration: It remains stored in your browser for up to 12 months, after which we ask for your choice again, or until you modify your preferences or clear your browser's local storage/cookies.
2. Functional: Language Preference
If you choose a language with the language selector in the header, the website stores your choice in a cookie named nf_lang so that the site opens in your language on your next visit.
- Purpose: It stores only the language code you selected (for example,
en). It is not used for tracking or advertising. - Legal Basis: It is set only on your explicit request and is needed to provide the language you asked for, so it does not require prior consent.
- Duration: 12 months, or until you delete it in your browser.
3. Optional: Audience Measurement (Google Analytics)
If you accept analytics cookies, the website loads Google Analytics (provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, USA) via googletagmanager.com and google-analytics.com. We use this service to understand in an aggregated and statistical manner how many visits the website receives, which pages are consulted, how users interact with the site, and where traffic originates.

- Data Collected: The script reads and sends to Google the page viewed, the referring URL, browser language, screen resolution, device/browser type, and interactions (such as link clicks or form submission events, though not the personal content entered into form fields). In Google Analytics 4 (GA4), IP addresses are used briefly for coarse geolocation and are anonymized/discarded before data is logged or stored.
- Use by Aranis Intelligence: ARANIS INTELLIGENCE, S.L. only consults aggregated statistical reports and does not use this data to personally identify you. If you reject analytics in the banner, the Google Analytics script is not loaded (or remains blocked) and these cookies are not set.

How to Manage Your Preferences
The first time you visit the website, you can accept or reject audience measurement with equal ease via the consent banner, or customize your choice under "Configure" / "Cookie Settings". Closing or ignoring the banner does not equate to accepting optional cookies.
- Via Our Website: You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the website footer. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any measurement carried out prior to withdrawal.
- Via Your Browser: You can also block or delete cookies and local storage at any time through the privacy and security settings of your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.).
